QUALIFICATIONS :
Professor -
(1) An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with 10 years of experience in post graduate teaching and / or experience in research at the University /National Level Institutions including experience of guiding research at Doctoral Level. (AND)
(2) MBA with specialization in Sports Management / Production Management / Marketing Management / (OR)
(3) Master Degree in Physical Education with PG Diploma in Sports Management with specialization Production Management / Marketing Management and Ph.D. in Sports Management / Production Management / Marketing Management. (OR)
(4) An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
Associate Professor -
(1) A Master's Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of the marks with good academic record or its equivalent grade of "B" in the UGC 7 point scale.
(2) Ph.D. in Physical Education with evidence of publication work with a minimum of 10 publications as book or research paper.
(3) At least eight year teaching experience / research experience in a department / college of Physical Education out of which at least 3 years in the post of graduate.
(4) A minimum 300 score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) during last 10 years.
Assistant Professor -
(1) A Master's Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of the marks with good academic record or its equivalent grade of "B" in the UGC 7 point scale.
(2) Besides fulfilling the above qualification the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
