Bank was established on 5th October 1953 With a small Capital Of Rs. 4890 and Membership of 59 persons under the leadership of Late Keshavlal Amrutlal Parekh as a Chairman, and Late Janmashankar Antani as a M.D. Bank has made tremendous & real progress, Bank became pride of saurashtra region & achieved new heights in banking as well as Co.Operrative sector under the leadership of former Chairman Late Shri Arvindbhai Maniar.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Jr.Executive (Trainee) – First Class Graduate (Except Arts). PGDCA / DCA / JAIIB/ CAIIB / COPA (with 1 year apprenticeship)preferable (OR) M.Com/LLB/MBA/MCA. 2 years experience in any co-operative bank or any financial institute is preferable.
Manager (Branches) – 1st Class Graduate(Except Arts) (OR) Post graduate (Except Arts) / Inter CA / CA. PGDCA / DCA / JAIIB/ CAIIB preferible). 7 years experience with Commercial Bank, Financial Institution or Urban Co-op. Bank. For MBA, 3 years experience as an Officer with any Banking or Financial Institute in the field of Banking, Finance etc. Having experience and confidence to handle Branch/ Department Independently. For CA, 2 years experience in banking or financial institute. Working knowledge of computer is must. Experience of CBS preferred. Knowledge of computers is must. Experience of core Banking will be an added advantage.
